2. Liu Fang and Michael O'Toole perform Philip Glass
Beautiful and elegant interpretion of the celebrated Philip Glass's composition for string quartet,
transcribed here for pipa (Chinese traditional string instrument) and classical guitar recorded live on
26 September 2008 at Birr Arts Centre, during the tour in Ireland in association with their new CD release.
The tour was sponsored by the Irish Arts Council & the Music Network.

3. Liu Fang and Michael O'Toole perform Yao Dance
Yao Dance or Dance of the Yao People is one of the best known and most popular Chinese instrumental
music collaboratively composed by Liu Tieshan and Mao Yuan for orchestra, and later on transcribed by
Peng Xiuwen for Chinese national orchestra. The current version is an adaptation for duo pipa and guitar.
